Representing national sources of geospatial data
EuroGeographics is proud to represent the European National Mapping, Cadastral and Land Registration Authorities. Their data is a trusted, sovereign and invaluable asset for a strong and secure Europe. By providing an independent voice, we support our members in making this case to their national governments, as well as internationally through our networks and partnerships.
EuroGeographics is committed to representing members’ interests and showcasing the value of their data to ensure that their roles, capabilities and concerns are understood. We are registered on the EU Transparency Register and are bound by its code of conduct. Internationally, we actively support and contribute to the United Nations Global Geospatial Information Management initiative (UN-GGIM) and provide the secretariat for UN-GGIM: Europe, one of its five regional committees.
Sharing national geospatial expertise
EuroGeographics is committed to supporting members’ ambitions through knowledge exchange and partnerships with external organisations who share our goal of using geospatial data to benefit society.
Our members value collaboration and actively work together to find solutions for common challenges. We facilitate this through a dedicated knowledge exchange programme designed to strengthen capabilities and expertise. Our knowledge exchange networks organise a year-round calendar of events -including webinars, workshops, and conferences alongside a range of publications covering research findings, policy papers, and best practice guidelines.
