Maintaining a network that helps members to improve capabilities and role
EuroGeographics members place tremendous value on collaborating to find solutions to common challenges. This willingness to share experiences and best practice is central to the success of our knowledge exchange activities. Our networks provide an open forum for discussing issues of mutual interest. Each focuses on an area of particular interest for National Mapping, Cadastre and Land Registry Authorities:
The KENs organise a comprehensive calendar of annual events, including webinars, workshops and conferences, and also issue a range of publications such as the results of research, policy papers and best practice guidelines.
Participation by non-members
We also pursue activities with other associations working in the field of mapping, cadastre and land information. These Partnerships complement and add to the development of our KEN activities, bringing greater opportunities for professional development. Whilst EuroGeographics’ KENs are provided principally for the benefit of members, KEN chairs other participants who, in their judgement, can add value to activities.
