Members Webinar Series – Implementation of the Copernicus Services Framework Agreement

The relationship and cooperation with the EEA has continued to flourish through the contract EuroGeographics has with eGEOS. The formal partnership agreement, Copernicus Services Framework Agreement, was signed `by EuroGeographics and the EEA at the start of the year, and we are now working hard to implement these agreements and fulfilling the objective of ensuring your authoritative data is used by the Copernicus services. This webinar provided you a refresher on the Copernicus Services Framework Agreement as well as information on the Annexes which cover data provision to the Emergency Mapping, Land and Security Services. The EEA  also presented a number of case studies to show how your data is being used and how vital and important it is they have access to the official data sources. There was also an opportunity to ask questions specifically around any barriers you might be facing which prevents your organisation from signing the agreement, annexes or providing the actual data even if the license is in place.
