The Documentation of Public-Law Restrictions

The CLRKEN Workshop took place as part of the “Joint EULIS and CLRKEN Conference” in Brussels at the EuroGeographics Head Office and at IGN Belgium. It was one of the most successful CLRKEN workshops so far in terms of number of participants and in terms of lively discussions. The topic of Public-Law Restrictions (PLRs) stirred quite a bit of interest among the approx. 50 participants from 25 countries across all of Europe.

The program consisted of 11 presentations, which looked at the background of PLRs and reported about PLR activities in 9 countries. Discussions showed that the documentation of PLRs is either established or in the phase of being set-up.
